When I was on holiday to Berlin we went to a Spanish
restaurant called Vivolo Ole! The restaurant was nice inside and it looked like
a traditional Spanish restaurant. We decided for drinks to get a jug of sangria
which was quite sweet and fruity I enjoyed more than I thought I would have had
as I do not really like wine. The menu had lots to choose from and you can
order from different Tapas dishes if you wanted too. I decide to order a
starter which was a chicken in an olive oil and garlic sauce. It was very tasty,
but it had a too much sauce on it compared to the amount of chicken that I had.
I felt the portion was quite small, but I didn't mind as it was starter.
For my main meal I
ordered the rack of lamb which I asked to be cooked medium. When it came the
presentation of it really good especially compared to my starter. The lamb was
cooked to perfection just the way I wanted it. The lamb was really tender and
juicy. It came with potatoes which were creamy and soft. It also came with
green beans which were a bit hard were I prefer them when they are softer. The
main course itself was delicious and would definitely get again.
We order a sharing desert
which had a bunch of different things on it like ice cream, different cakes and
crème brulee. The cakes were delicious and there was defiantly enough even
though we shared it between four people. (I forgot to get a photo as I was
trying not to miss out on any dessert.) The staff within the restaurant were really
friendly and there English was excellent.
The price of the food was reasonable not too expensive but something you
would expect to pay at the type of place. I would try out this place again if I
was ever to visit Berlin again.
My rating review of the restaurant out of 10 for each:
Food: 8
Atmosphere and Layout:8
Staff:9
Prices:8
Overall: 8/10
