I decided to go to Coias Cafe which is an Italian style
restaurant which is in the east end of Glasgow. We were seated at a booth table
which had plenty of room and it was very comfortable. The menu had lots to choose
from and maybe too many as it was hard to pick what i wanted from the menu. For
starters I decided to get chicken strips. The starters came really quick and
there was not much waiting around which was good. I felt that they were a bit overcooked
but they were still nice. The garlic mayonnaise sauce that they came with was
really good. My starter was a little bit of a let-down and I felt that it could
have been better. It was a not bad starter but if I went again I would pick
something else from the menu.
For dessert I decided to get a knickerbocker glory. It came
in a tall ice cream glass with loads of fruit it also came with ice cream and a
snowball. It also had chocolate and raspberry sauce mixed in with it. It was
really good but probably too much as it was a massive dessert which you could
have shared it because near the end of it became a bit sicking as there was too
much. Overall the desert was delicious in the end.
The staff were nice and friendly. The prices were also
reasonable and couldn’t complain as the food was good quality and really delicious.
Overall my experience was good the only thing I was disappointed in was my starter
but my main course and dessert made up for it. I would definitely go back.
